• Delmy has been a nurse for 7 years.

• She has been an Inova nurse for 7 years.

• Delmy has never met a challenge she doesn't like. The intellectual and emotional intricacies of nursing and every challenge she is faced with is a thrill. During nursing school, she worked as a nursing assistant at Inova Fairfax Hospital. A Master's in Nursing quickly followed, and now as a clinical nurse specialist, Delmy acts as a consultant and trainer for other nurses at Inova Alexandria Hospital, developing a plan of care, answering procedural questions and lending support. She became interested in nursing when she was in college. She was attracted to the challenge of it, the science, and the physical stamina required. Delmy enjoys helping people, in fact she enjoys just being around people in general, which is a good trait for a talented nurse.
