The Critical Care Internship/Fellowship is designed to provide a foundation of practice for the new critical care nurse. This program begins with a nine-day basic critical care course, followed by a precepted learning experience on the employee's assigned unit. At the conclusion of the precepted learning experience, additional classroom content is presented to advance the new clinician's practice. The length of the program is determined by the employee's unit-specific needs.
