Oncology Nursing Internship/Fellowship

The Oncology Nursing Internship/Fellowship provides a learning environment for the registered nurse to develop competency in assessment and nursing management of adult oncology patients in an acute care setting. The program consists of an initial phase of didactic learning and clinical experiences with a preceptor and is completed within a 12-week period. After completion of the initial phase, clinical expectations are gradually increased as experience is gained.
