Day Camp for Kids
Inova Diabetes Center Day Camp is a
chance for kids with type 1 or
type 2 diabetes to enjoy a fun day of
outdoor activities with other kids
their age who also deal with
diabetes.
This year's camp will be Wednesday, July 16, 2008, at Hemlock Overlook. The day-long session welcomes youngsters in third through eighth grades. Certified diabetes educators are on hand to lead the activities and team-building skills.

Inova Diabetes Center's Day Camp gives kids a chance to:
- Have fun, socialize and make friends with other kids who have diabetes
- Gain independence by practicing their diabetes self-management skills in a safe, supportive environment
- Enjoy fun adventures including games, hiking, crafts and team building activities
