Nurse Practitioner Students
Nurse Practitioner students enrolled in affiliated programs may participate in rotations at Inova Health System facilities. Interested students who would like to apply for rotations should contact their Dean's Office for placement. All Nurse Practitioner student rotations are authorized by the Director of Undergraduate Medical Education.
Eligibility Criteria
Nurse Practitioner students currently enrolled in accredited NP programs must contact their home institutions when requesting rotations at Inova facilities. Only students at affiliated institutions will be allowed to complete rotations at Inova Health System. If a affiliation agreement with Inova is currently in place, the student's institution must provide:
- A letter of good standing from the Dean's Office
- A statement of compliance with immunization requirements
- A statement of malpractice coverage of at least $1 million individual/$3 million aggregate
- A statement of HIPPA and OSHA training
