Urgent Care Centers

Inova Urgent Care Centers provide care for a variety of nonemergency illnesses and injuries. The centers can provide supplemental care for those times when your physician's office is closed or unable to provide an immediate appointment.

Patients do not need an appointment at Inova Urgent Care Centers. Patients are seen as quickly as possible on a walk-in basis. Our staff will let patients know of any delays.

Onsite Services Include:

• treatment for minor illness and injury
• laboratory tests and X-rays
• work-related injury
• physical exams
• audiometry and vision screening
• alcohol and drug testing

Physicians and Staff:

Inova Urgent Care Centers are staffed by board-certified/board-eligible physicians licensed in Virginia. Clinical support staff include registered nurses and radiologic technologists, and medical techs/lab technicians. A physician, nurse, radiologic technologist and laboratory technician are always on duty at each center. Facilities also have administrative staff to help patients with registration, billing and insurance.

Fees and Insurance:

Fees are due and payable at the time of service. We accept cash, personal checks and major credit cards. A health-insurance membership card should be presented at registration. We participate in and accept assignment from most insurance plans. We are a participating Medicare provider. Patients are responsible for any co-pay, deductibles or noncovered services.

Pre-authorization and Referrals:

Please keep in mind that some insurance companies and HMOs require patients to have a referral from their primary care physicians before being seen at an urgent care center.
