Facts about Blood Donation

Facts about Blood Donation

Every day Inova Blood Donor Services works to collect, test, and safeguard more than 200 units of blood to ensure a safe, ready supply for you and your loved ones. Every day this becomes a greater challenge. Recent studies show only 37 percent of people in the United States are eligible to donate blood. Of those, fewer than 5 percent donate on a regular basis.

Together with friends, family, business, and media partners, we aim to raise awareness about the importance of blood donation in our community. We ask you to help.
