Bone Marrow and Stem Cell Transplant
Inova Transplant Center has performed hundreds of bone marrow and peripheral stem cell transplants to treat diseases including leukemia, Hodgkin's disease, non-Hodgkin's disease and multiple myeloma.
Our mission is to provide superior care in a community based setting. We have numerous integrated services and highly specialized physicians and staff, all working together to meet the needs of the patient and his or her family.
Inova Transplant Center offers autologous, non-myeloablative, allogeneic and matched unrelated donor transplants. A multidisciplinary team approach is used in patient care is designed to provide patients with the most effective care possible.
History
Our program began in 1989 when we performed the first autologous bone marrow transplant in the area. Drs. Roy Beveridge and Gregory Orloff are the medical co-directors of the program. Dr. Beveridge began the program in 1989, and Dr. Orloff joined the program in 1995. Program highlights stretch back more than a decade.
