World class rehabilitation has a home at Inova Mount Vernon Hospital. Inova Rehabilitation Center (IRC) is a specialized facility dedicated to the inpatient and outpatient recovery of people with brain, stroke, spinal cord, orthopedic, neurological and workplace injuries. We treat nearly 1,000 people in our inpatient program and over 700 in our outpatient program annually. 185 dedicated rehabilitation specialists are exclusive to the Center alone.

Since 1986, the Rehabilitation Accreditation Commission (CARF) has bestowed full ongoing three-year accreditations upon IRC for both our inpatient and our outpatient rehabilitation programs.
