Inova Health System was the first in the Northern Virginia and Washington, D.C., metro area to offer a comprehensive wound healing center. The Inova Dorothea R. Fisher Wound Healing Center at Inova Mount Vernon Hospital has been helping people with chronic, non-healing wounds for more than seven years. We do what many of you affected by these challenging conditions thought was impossible: get you back on your feet and living a full and active life.
Now we bring the same quality and exceptional care to our second location at Inova Fair Oaks Hospital. Both facilities include:
- Ability to self-refer
- Individual treatment plans coordinated with your physician
- Physicians, nurses and therapists specialized in wound management
- Cure rate higher than 90 percent – far above the national average
- Advanced diagnostics and treatment, including hyperbaric oxygen therapy (Inova Mount Vernon Hospital location only)
