- Inova Fairfax Hospital was ranked the 24th best hospital in the nation, according to Consumer Checkbook's two-year study of more than 1,300 hospitals and was rated the best hospital in the region for high-risk adult and pediatric surgery in Consumers' Checkbook's Consumer's Guide to Hospitals.
- Inova Fairfax Hospital received its four-year Magnet Redesignation in 2001. Awarded by the American Nurses Credentialing Center, this designation means top quality nursing and a supportive hospital environment help us attract and retain the best in the field.
