Diagnostic Tests for the Pediatric Cardiology Patient
In
many ways a physician is like a detective. He or she has to
sort out the information described by you and your child about
symptoms and medical history, perform a physical exam and diagnostic
tests, and finally diagnose the problem. Diagnostic tests may
be performed at physician offices or at the Inova Heart Center
as either an in patient or out patient. Diagnostic tests are
described on the following pages.
