Inova Fair Oaks Hospital volunteers are often the first hospital representatives with whom a family member speaks. Whether giving directions, answering the phone, or offering support to patients and staff, volunteers help us provide the highest quality, compassionate care to the diverse communities we serve.

We have many exciting volunteer opportunities from which to choose.
- providing patient services by greeting and escorting patients to their destinations
- brightening someone’s day by delivering flowers and cards
- discharging patients
- running errands for hospital staff
- staffing the information, registration, surgical services, and triage desks
- participating in special social events and fundraising activities
- providing clerical support services
- serving customers at our gift shop and thrift store
