The surgical information desk, managed by Inova Fairfax Hospital/Inova Fairfax Hospital for Children volunteers, is located in the lobby of the Inova Surgery Center. It is used to: check in and direct surgical outpatients, provide general patient and visitor information and assistance, and provide registration and admission services for all obstetric, gynecology and pediatric inpatients and outpatients. The surgical information desk also is where physicians and nurses often meet with family members to report patient information.
