About Our Center
The medical care of
children adopted from countries outside the United States presents unique
challenges for families and healthcare providers. Internationally adopted children
may be at risk for medical, developmental, and emotional problems not
commonly seen in the United States.
At the International Adoption Center, our team of professionals provides:
- Comprehensive medical evaluations
- Developmental screenings
- Psychosocial interdisciplinary evaluations for children
All children receive quality care and a comprehensive evaluation from our staff who are trained and experienced in international adoption issues. Our goal is to assist each family in allowing their child to develop to his or her maximum potential.
