Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) provides neonatal service to high-risk neonates requiring specialized care requiring varying levels of observation and treatment. Conditions include intensive care, short stay, intermediate care and newborn transitional care. At least one neonatologist and one neonatal nurse practitioner are in-house 24 hours a day working closely with a multidisciplinary team of nurses, therapists and support staff.

- uses an in-house Collaborative Practice and Continuous Quality Improvement Committee
