Craniofacial Surgery
Major
anomalies of the facial bones or skull may require corrective surgery.
The team may recommend craniofacial surgery if the facial skeleton develops
asymmetrically or if the upper or lower jaw is overdeveloped or underdeveloped.
Reconstruction may be required if the orbits (eye sockets), skull or the
bones in the mid face have developed abnormal positions, size or shape.
These procedures require the services of the surgical team.
