Inova Health System offers a variety of programs for people with addictive or emotional disorders. Inpatient and outpatient mental health programs are offered at Inova Fairfax Hospital, including the innovative Partial Hospital Program, which offers intensive, structured therapy on an outpatient basis. Inova Loudoun Hospital and Inova Mount Vernon Hospital also offer inpatient and outpatient mental health programs.

The Inova Kellar Center, which serves youth and adolescents aged 3 to 18, as well as their families, is Northern Virginia's only nonprofit center for children's outpatient mental health care and substance-abuse treatment.
