This program is designed to assist individuals in the rehabilitation process following limb amputation. Our services cover a wide spectrum, from pre-prosthetic exercise and conditioning to advance prosthetic training. Evaluations are performed by occupational and/or physical therapists to create individualized program for each amputee.

Following the evaluation, a comprehensive rehabilitation program will be designed for each client. Throughout the rehabilitation program, contact will be maintained with the referring physicians and with the prosthetist to address any issues that may arise with your prosthesis or discuss progress. In addition to the above activities, each client will receive a home exercise program (HEP). The HEP is an important part of any rehabilitation program and will likely address strength, range of motion, and preparation of the residual limb for prosthetic fitting, all vital activities for any amputee. Dedication to a home exercise program will make prosthetic training easier and complications less likely.
