Physical Therapy
Physical Therapists help patients restore, maintain and promote optimal physical function. Specialized services include:
- amputee rehabilitation
- aquatic therapy
- neurologic rehabilitation program
- vestibular (equilibrium) rehabilitation
- wheelchair seating and mobility evaluation
Speech Therapy
Speech Therapists/Speech and Language Pathologists help patients restore the ability to produce and understand the spoken word. Specialized services include:
- neurologic rehabilitation program
- speech and language treatment
- swallowing evaluation and treatment/video swallow studies
- voice rehabilitation
Occupational Therapy
Occupational Therapists help patients sharpen fine motor skills, utilize adaptive equipment and achieve the highest possible level of independence. Specialized services include:
- comprehensive community mobility evaluation (CCME)
- neurologic rehabilitation program
- occupational therapy
- vestibular (equilibrium) rehabilitation
- vision/visual-perceptual rehabilitation
Therapeutic Recreation
Therapeutic Recreation Therapists help patients re-enter the community and practice skills in familiar, recreational settings. Specialized services include:
- animal assisted therapy
- community access outings
Psychology/Neuropsychology
Psychologist and Neuropsychologists help patients address the emotional and neurosocial ramifications of their illness or injury and develop coping or compensatory strategies. Specialized services include:
- behavior management
- disability management
- pain management strategies
- psychological education
